Installation:
npde can be installed directly from the CRAN as other R packages. The installation procedure can be found in the user guide available in the documentation section.
Unix/Linux systems:
At the shell prompt, type
R CMD INSTALL npde_3.2.tar.gz
The package can also be installed from within R using the command assuming proper privileges:
install.packages("npde",pkgs="mydir/npde_3.2.tar.gz")
where mydir is the directory where the npde package can be found on the user's system.
Windows:
Use the GUI menu and select the package npde_3.2.zip.
The package can also be installed from within R using the command assuming proper privileges:
install.packages("npde",pkgs="mydir/npde_3.2.tar.gz")
can be used to install the npde package from within R, where mydir is the directory where the npde package can be found on the user's system (for Windows user, change the name of the package to npde_3.2.zip).
Please consult the R Installation and Administration manual (section 6) for further details concerning the installation of packages.
Additional files:
Version 2.0 of the npde package introduces a new example of a real-life dataset, the remifentanil data (Minto et al. 1997). The simulated dataset included in the distributed package contains only 200 simulations to limit the size of the download. The link below contains a larger dataset with 1000 simulated datasets under the model (zipped).
Full simulated data (K=1000 replications): simul_remifull.csv.zip
